Made in 2 weeks for WeightGaming Forums' Gain Jam 2022!
This is a skateboarding game where the goal is to win a skate competition! The competition is sponsored by a popular burger chain, and is offering a boost to your score in exchange for promoting (eating) their products during the competition!
Will you give into greed? Will your skateboard even support your weight by the end of the competition? It's up to you!

Does this have support controllers?
it should work out of the box with an XInput controller (xbox, 360, etc)
any other controller will work if you launch the game through steam and configure your controller on steam.
this is a fantastic game!
i like its cool, PS1-style 3D graphics and the cute girls that you can pick for the skate tournament...
i also like that the physics of the game work well, and despite my difficulty to get some of the letters by jumping in the right angle, its still very fun to do all those skate tricks and to see if i can get each girl bigger and bigger with the sponsorship food/drinks...
i would love to see more characters added in this game, or extra choices to make them larger, but other than that, its a fantastic game, which is very enjoyable and well-done.

Trying to jump off the ramps is ultra finicky, let alone having the speed to get either the shake or the N that require using a ramp to get to. The other letters you can just get dismounted and the other food items are easy to reach by comparison. That and the grind rails are really... touchy? a small bit glitchy, esp the rails that go upward, as the grindrail under the A just has you sit at the apex of it without moving, and the two rails that lead to the K, if you grind on them just right, can give you millions of points as long as you keep grinding as the game keeps repeating the grinding motion over and over.
But aside from those this is a really good skateboard sim, and really fits the PS1 tone it was aiming for. Almost a shame you can't Pre-Fatten Mac on the character select screen to see what her cap weight is, but it's probably for the best.
yeah my biggest regret for this project was that i wasn't able to get the game physics to be super stable. so much of it was done in the last 3 days of development haha. i do plan on continuing to develop it!
there might actually be a secret button to change her weight..
I might of found the button, but it only bowmps them in game and not in the menu...

looks cool but every time I select a character and try to play the game it has a fatal error and crashes
edit: I fixed it by messing with my graphics drivers and truing the SFX to 0
Not too bad for 8 days. Hearing the THPS sound effects instinctively makes me want to hit the 🔺 button to perform a lip trick or R1 to SPEEEEN, but 🔺 does nothing and R1 dismounts.
I'd love to see where this goes.

i like this but i hope for more slimmer characters too add weight too, As a fan of the tony hawk series i never thought of mixing it with weight gaining but here you are doing just that.

Not a bad start for the gamejam. Character is cute and the gameplay flows fluidly. I wish there was more to it but I get it's an early build for a gamejam. That said, I hope you continue to develop this further.
